Here’s the short list:

  • High Fructose Corn Syrup: Diabetes, ADD, Weight Gain, The Mid-Day Crash…the list goes on
  • Corn Syrup: Avoid this and products with other syrups used as added sweetener to cut down on the refined sugars.
  • Trans Fats: Anything with hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated in the title WILL CONTAIN SOME TRANS FATS EVEN IF THE LABEL SAYS OTHERWISE.
  • Soy: Potent anti-nutrient and hormone disruptor.
  • Protein Isolates: High temperature drying creates cancer causing compounds like nitrates
  • MSG & Artificial Sweeteners: The former is a neurotoxic flavor enhancer and the second (aspartame, sucralose, saccharin etc.) haven’t been tested and are known to be toxic.
